Milena Bonilla, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant practicing exclusively in the field of Dermatology for over a decade. Milena earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2002 and Physician Assistant Certification from St. John’s University in 2008 where she was awarded The Neils Schmitt Award for Clinical Excellence.
Throughout her career, Ms. Bonilla has continuously provided exceptional patient care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Milena possesses extensive clinical expertise in the diagnosis & treatment of acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis/eczema, nail disorders, hair loss and skin cancer. She is skilled in performing aesthetic treatments including Botox, Microneedling, Chemical Peels and a multitude of laser services for facial and body treatments.
Milena has also served as a sub-investigator on numerous medical research trials in the field as well as a clinical preceptor training the next generation of Dermatology PAs from NYIT, Touro College and her alma mater.
Ms. Bonilla is a multilingual provider, speaking fluent Spanish and conversational French which allows her to provide understanding personal care to patients in our culturally diverse community. Milena is compassionate, kind and committed to providing an excellent experience for patients of all ages. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA), an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Milena currently lives on Long Island. She enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling abroad or seeing a Broadway show but you can usually find her enjoying the beaches of the North Fork with her husband and two young daughters.
